I 4 Balconi is located behind San Matteo’s Church, baroque place of worship built in the second half of the XVII century by Achille Larducci di Salò (Francesco Borromini’s nephew), and few paces far from Sant’Oronzo’s square, graceful living room characterized by the Roman Amphitheater and the column of the Saint.

5 minutes of walk will let you reach Duomo square, one of the rare examples of “closed square” in which the imposing bell stands.

How to get there

    Enter Lecce via SS 16 Adriatic, than take Viale Michele De Pietro which then turns into Via XXV Luglio. Ones you get in front of Carlo V’s Castle, turn to the right in Viale Francesco Lo Re. Enter the first side street on the right (Via dei Berardi) and go straight for 50 meters. At the and of the street you will be in front of I 4 Balconi.


    Located 850 meters far from the station, to get to i 4 Balconi you should walk along Viale Quarta which than turns into Viale Cairoli. Turn to the right in Via Russi and than go straight along Via Ferri. At the and of the street you will be in front of I 4 Balconi.
